Illness Update

So my trip has been very fun and exciting so far. We have visited Cologne, Frankfurt, Weiderstadt, Munich, Fussen, and tonight we are taking a night train to Florence. As you may have read I had strep throat before we left. Well by the time we arrived in Germany I felt all better. Then this morning I woke up and had PINK EYE! Who over the age of six gets pink eye? I am apologizing to Teresa now for staying at her house with pink eye, but for all I know she gave it to me. Just Kidding! No one else in my group has been sick at all and hopefully it will stay this way. As I am writing this though, I am starting to feel my other eye starting to get sticky. I feel bad for the person who uses this keyboard after me.

Seriously, I thought that too...what adult gets pink eye?? I know you weren't around for my wedding, but I kid you not...2 days before my wedding I woke up with pink eye in both eyes. My cousin Jeff snagged some miracle secret eye drops he knew about from this doctor and brought them to me. And by my wedding day, they looked almost all the way better...but you can still tell in my pictures that the whites of my eyes are a little red. Ashley, that sucks that you have pink eye...especially trying to get medicine when you're out of the country is such a pain! At least it was for us...if I can find out the name of the secret miracle eye drops then I will tell you...I'll ask Jeff. And uh, yeah...you might want to sanitize that keyboard now:)

I would love to know the name of the miracle secret eye drops. I wonder if I can get them in Italy? I am so glad that someone can feel my pain of being an adult with pink eye. Today has been a fun day of me dabbing my leaky eye with tissue every couple of minutes. I think the other tourists thought I was touched by the David.

Ashley that sounds horrible. I also have had my share of eye infections and I always think the same things... I wash my hands! I am an adult!

You are so funny! I guess I should have read this a day or two ago. Luckily everyone in my family is healthy and our eyes are clear. :) Sorry, but you are going to have to pass the blame to your fellow airplane passengers. That is too bad that you keep getting these uncomfortable illnesses. It doesn't sound like it has effected your travel though. Have fun, and be careful.
